Hard spit rang against the copper pot with a loud twang. The pot itself had definitely seen better years—and uses—as the green-brown, dried up spittle of misfires showed. The offender of the pot was a crooked-back old man, with skin shriveled by the sun and eyes wrinkled by years of outdoor work. His stern gaze looked over the ooze-covered group of mercenaries:
The man front and center was their leader no doubt, with a rather impressive sculpted five’o clock shadow of a beard in place. His gaze was hard, and looked just about done standing there in his bloodied clothes. Next came a spry looking Human lad, with hands twitching and fiddling about, yet eyes that seemed disinterested in anything going on. A foxy woman with blood in her hair and clothes, seemed more interested in protecting the papers and the decives secured under her arm, half-wrapped in a small jacket. Finally of the four, a large Draenei figure loomed behind the group, silent and watchful with a matter-of-factly indifference to the conversation; as though he already judged the conversation as something of note. Nothing more, nothing less.
“We did the job, we expect the pay.” The bearded stated, holding out a hand for the payment.
“You did a sloppy job of it, that’s what you did.” Replied the old man, leaning back on his simple chair and looking them over. “Really, for the price you stamped on this, I thought you’d be more… professional.”
"When we were hired to do this, I thought you'd be less shriveled. We can't all be happy." The Human snipped, arms folded and hands laid flat against his side.
“Bah, keep your tail on, you little goon, I’ll get your pay…” The man hobbled inside his rickety house, leaving the group of four to stand amongst themselves.
“What a jerk. Think we can find some nice people to work for next time?” The woman sighed, glancing sidelong to the bearded man, whose mood looked to be getting more and more foul the longer he had to stand in his mucky clothes.
“Nice people ask army. Not mercenaries.” The Draenei commented in his monotone voice.
"Easier to just take the money and run with nice people.” Another quip came from the Human, staring at the door of the rickety house intently.
“Oh, that’s real mature coming from you hug-loving type.” The woman snapped back, her mood also darkening by the blood and mud covering her form.
“Ramsey. Sarah, Odrick. Cut it out.” The bearded man said with a few waves of his hand, sending more guck around the group in his flurry.
“Alright, alright. Say it, don’t spray it, Sin.” Odrick huffed.
“We don’t need nice people giving us jobs, what we need is to be taken more seriously, for more serious jobs. We need… we need more people, so we can tackle better jobs. Better pay.” Sinadrus glanced around at the trio by him, who seemed to all nod in some form of agreement to this idea.
“Potential risk of death increase.” The Draenei stated.
“Yeah, well Goat, mercenary work is risky. More people would help with less death anyway. But fact of the matter is, we need work and money that’ll get us out of this… sort of mess.” Jonas said, finishing his thought as the old man stepped out of his home with a weak looking bag that gave only a slight tinkle of coin from within.
“So… I got about half a bag of gold. I know you wanted a full one but… poor little old me just doesn’t have that kind of money.” The old man gave a crooked grin, showing off four dazzling green teeth.
"That's okay, I can just take four teeth and an eyeball as a 'you owe me.' You won't miss them, right?", A dagger starting to unsheathe from his belt.
Sinadrus’s eye twitched, motioning to Odrick to stand down with another wave of his hand, causing more gunk to fly. He stepped forward and snatched the bag out of the old man’s hand, throwing the precious seeds they had gathered from the deadly, ooze-spewing plant monsters at the man. The group of four took their leave in silence, before Sinadrus looked to Sarah.
“Posters. Everywhere. We’re recruiting hard and getting ourselves out of these shithole jobs.”
The Venefic Order is a chance for those middle aligned men and women to find a friendly place to call home; for the ones who don’t have the darkest of souls to the ones who aren’t ready to get their act together for the military or other respected people. Venefic allows people of many different neutral alignments to get together under one color. We are not the good, we are not the evil. We are the neutral, willing to ally or enemy with anyone who’d be useful or harmful to us. The only people we are truly loyal to is our group.
We are a more shady mercenary guild that started just after Sinadrus finally made his way to Stormwind. Not really being suited for anything else he formed The Venefic as a way to earn a living on the harsh and what seems corrupt world. We are here for glory and riches, but mostly riches.
The group works as a Mercenary guild and often dwells into smuggling and other sorts of goods. Events will be posted by which people will have to complete a task/objective. Most of all of the events and objectives will be paid with either IC gold and rank-ups and gaining of titles, meaning access to better routes, conditions, pay and of course work and standing with the Boss.
Other events will take place for those who have gone up the ranks and proved to be a little more useful to the group. These events will include the gathering of powerful items and materials across Azeroth, the stealing of artifacts and even subtle assassinations if need be.
We are a heavy RP guild dedicated to the players within our group. We have events every week (minimum) using a roll style system (Think DnD, only less complicated.) We also love to do us some pve/pvp on off scale. We have ventured into the dungeons and promptly got our asses kicked, loving every minute of it. Once we have a full group, we are going to be doing raids, dungeons and mythics as well. Please remember the main cause/point of the guild is for good Heavy-RP, we won’t be going for the complete long stretch on raiding and such.
Your character must be level 14+ as it shows some sort of commitment to that character and it allows for you to visit the guild HQ.
We do have an inactivity limit, unless we are notified of your leave. If you are inactive for 21+ days, you will be kicked.
OOCly I do expect you to be an Experienced Roleplayer.
You should also expect to do /roll events. Our guild is heavily based on Roll Style fighting and events.
Contact Sinadrus or Ramsey in game if you have any questions about anything.
